For so long, Belgium have been considered one of the favorites for the trophies at the World Cup or EURO. Their best recent achievement came in 2018, when they reached the semifinals in Russia, but there has always been a sense that the so-called "golden generation" was capable of achieving even more. Belgium have been handed one of the more favorable groups at the upcoming tournament, facing Egypt, Iran, and New Zealand, and it would be a major surprise if Rudi Garcia's side failed to secure a place in the knockout stage.

Belgium are impressive for more than a year. They are unbeaten in the last 12 matches. In the most recent outing, Garcia's team won 2-0 on the road in a friendly against Croatia. However, the teams were much more even than the final result suggests, but Belgium's outstanding efficiency was enough for victory. 

For Belgium, more important than a victory in Rijeka was that Romelu Lukaku returned to the national team after more than 12 months' absence with a goal. The striker's previous season was plagued by injuries at Napoli, and a goal against Croatia could be a confidence-booster for the player and could have a big effect on the team. 

Tunisia never came out of the group at the World Cup, and that will be a big success in the upcoming tournament. The African team will compete against the Netherlands, Japan, and Sweden in the first phase, and every point could be crucial on the road to the 1/16 final. 

Although Tunisia have big ambitions, they struggled with consistency lately. Sabri Lamouchi's team has won only once in the last six matches. In the previous game, they lost 1-0 on the road against Austria. The hosts played with ten players for most of the match, so it is quite disappointing that Tunisia again failed to score. 

By far the biggest problem for Tunisia is the attack. They scored only one goal in the last three matches (against Austria, Haiti, and Canada). Those three opponents are probably weaker than Belgium, so Tunisia could have even bigger problems scoring on Saturday afternoon in Brussels.
