Sundsvall vs Oster prediction 15.06.2026 | Superettan

After three Superettan bottom-half seasons, Sundsvall are in danger of relegation. They collected only nine points in the first 11 league rounds and are three points behind the safety. Sundsvall lost two of the last three matches. Ion Doros Guler's team ended a negative streak on Wednesday with a 1-0 road win over Orebro. Although Sundsvall secured all three points, they had only 31% ball possession and significantly fewer chances to score. Guler's team will have to do much better to have a realistic chance of surviving in the competition. 

The head coach, Erol Ates, led Sundsvall at the start of the season, but he lost his job in May after a terrible run of six consecutive defeats. At his place came Ion Doros Guler as an interim head coach. In four games, he led Sundsvall to six points. 

Sundsvall have big problems on both sides of the pitch. They are the worst offensive team in Superettan with nine goals and the second-weakest defensive team with twenty conceded goals. Sundsvall obviously will have to improve their squad during the summer to have a realistic chance of avoiding relegation. 

After relegation from Allsvenskan last season, Oster are one of the best teams in the second tier of Swedish football. They are three points behind the promotion playoff zone. Oster were excellent recently with two wins in a row. In the most recent outing, Daniel Friberg's team won 3-0 at home against Varnamo. The hosts dominated in the first half, scored three goals, and cruised to victory in the rest of the game. 

Oster are one of the best teams in Superettan, but if we can single out one area for improvement, it is surely their offense. Oster scored only 15 goals in 11 matches and are the fifth-worst attacking team in the competition. We should expect Oster to add more firepower in the upcoming transfer window and improve the chances of promotion.
