Vojvodina vs Ferencvaros prediction 09.07.2026 | Europa League Qualifiers

Vojvodina came into this season after one of their best ones in a long time. They were the Super Liga vice-champions, finishing ten points behind Red Star and three points above Partizan Beograd. They were also the Serbian Cup vice-champions, with Red Star once again taking the trophy. 

The team from Novi Sad hasn't had much success in Europe in recent years, constantly exiting the Qualifiers in the 2nd or 3rd Qualifying rounds. Now, in this first leg in Novi Sad, they are under pressure to secure a win and have a chance of advancing, especially given that they have lost their past four road games in the Qualifiers. 

Vojvodina were pretty active in the transfer period, as five new players arrived (one on loan), with Dejan Zukic being probably the best among them. On the other hand, three players left the club, but they weren't too important a part of the rotation.

Ferencvaros failed to win the league title after seven consecutive years. They finished 2nd, just one point away from winning another title. However, they managed to win the Cup and somewhat save their season. 

In the Europa League, Ferencvaros did very well recently, managing to come out of the League (Group) phase in back-to-back seasons. For this duel against Vojvodina, they are the favorite to advance, with the bookies offering odds around 1.4-1.45. 

When it comes to offseason transfers, the team has added only Nathan Zohoré, while a few players have left. Most notably, two players from the starting eleven - right full-back, Cebrail Makreckis, and central defender Ibrahim Cissé.So, on paper, they got slightly worse. 

For the upcoming game, the question is whether Lenny Joseph will be ready, as he was at the World Cup with his national team, Haiti.
