Randers FC vs OB prediction 11.05.2026 | Danish Superliga

Randers FC come into Monday’s crucial Superliga fixture in high spirits after a vital 1:0 win against Vejle last weekend. Despite being reduced to ten min in the first-half following the dismissal of Cyril Edudzi, Elies Mahmoud’s second-half penalty secured a huge victory for Rasmus Bertelsen’s side. 

The Horses now find themselves outside of the relegation zone, two points clear of FC Frederica with just two games to play.

Monday’s hosts had failed to win any of six previous league fixtures, including an entertaining 2:2 draw against Frederica in their previous match at Cepheus Park Randers.

Indeed a lack of clean sheets has been a big concern for the home side. Randers conceded at least one goal in eight of nine previous fixtures before last weekend’s 1:0 win against Vejle. 

Head coach Bertelsen will be forced into at least one change to his selection on Monday. Cyril Edudzi misses out after his red card last weekend.

Frederik Lauenborg is also expected to remain sidelined with a minor knock.

OB make the trip to Cepheus Park after a 3:2 home reversal against Silkeborg last weekend. Nicolas Bürgy saw red in the second-half as the visitors claimed a well-deserved win at Nature Energy Park.

Alexander Zorniger’s side have found some form in recent weeks, but remain frustratingly inconsistent. OB won three and lost three of their last six league fixtures. They had failed to win six of seven previous Superliga fixtures.

Usually a reliable choice for goal chasers, six of their eight most recent matches saw both teams get on the scoresheet. Similarly consistent on the road, six of eight previous away fixtures also saw BTTS land.  

Head coach Zorninger will make at least one change to his first XI on Monday. Nicolas Bürgy is suspended after his red card against Silkeborg. 

The visitors have no further selection issues reported.
