Forest come into this game in surprisingly solid form. The Tricky Trees have lost only once in their last 11 matches, although that defeat still stings a bit.

Newcastle have lost four of the last five on the road, and some of those performances looked oddly flat for a squad with this much quality.

Anthony Gordon returned to the bench against Brighton and should be pushing for a start at the City Ground. That could give Newcastle more directness in transition.

Emil Krafth is still sidelined with a long-term knee problem, while Fabian Schär, Tino Livramento and Lewis Miley are also expected to miss out.
