Drogheda vs Shelbourne prediction 19.06.2026 | Premier Division

Since returning to the Premier Division in 2021, Drogheda have been a regularly lower-half team, and that shouldn't change in the current campaign. After twenty league rounds, Drogheda are only one point ahead of the relegation playoff zone, and every game could prove decisive. Drogheda's form doesn't provide much confidence, either, as they are winless in the last five matches. In the previous game, they lost 2-0 on the road against St. Patrick's. The hosts finished with 64% ball possession and ten shots on goal more than the guests, so Drogheda deservedly went home empty-handed. 

Drogheda have big problems in defense recently. They conceded ten goals in the last five matches. Drogheda is scoring regularly, but without improving its defense, Kevin Doherty's team can hardly expect significant improvement in the standings.
