The Wakuna platform has been designed with simplicity in mind. Account creation is fast, as is the betting process. The interface can be viewed in both English and Dutch, meaning those in the Netherlands can benefit from using their native language.

Navigation 

The home page highlights casino games, but you can easily switch to sports by clicking the icon in the top navigation bar. Once here, the available sports are displayed in a drop-down menu at the top of the screen, and details of promotions can be accessed on the left-hand side. Design

The design and layout of the Wakuna platform mean that it’s easy to find the sports that interest you, as well as all relevant information. Sports have text and icons, making them easy to identify, and white text on a black background means that the odds can be read with ease.

There are no issues when it comes to how quickly the pages load. We were able to move between events and markets with no noticeable delays.

There is currently no Wakuna download for iPhone or Android. Instead, mobile betting can be done via a browser on a smartphone or tablet. There is the option to add a shortcut to the homescreen for added convenience.

The mobile experience matches that available on a desktop, with all sports and features being accessible. The only differences are that navigation is via taps and swipes with drop-down menus, and the layout adjusts to the smaller screen.

We tried the live chat function. Initially, a bot enquired what our query was. It simply needed us to type the word ‘agent’ to be transferred to a human. It took around five minutes for someone to join the chat, and once they did, all responses were almost instant. We visited the site numerous times over three days, and there were always more than 2,000 events to wager on. Football had the most, with events within the Eredivisie, EPL, and other top leagues.

Live betting and streaming
