The 2026 season could be the best ever for Nashville SC. Since joining the MLS in 2020, the team from Geodis Park has never made a significant breakthrough. However, after 14 matches in the current campaign, Nashville SC are at the top of the Eastern Conference with two points more than Inter Miami. One of the reasons for Nashville SC excellent position is their form before the World Cup break, as they won the last three matches in a row. Atlanta United have two players on their radar this summer. They are interested in Atletico Madrid's midfielder Koke and Flamengo's winger Luiz Araujo. Both players would be a good addition to the struggling Atlanta United. 

Atlanta United also have some problems with missing players. They will be without Emmanuel Latte Lath and Steven Alzate in Nashville, while Fafa Picault is questionable.
