Henan vs Shanghai Port prediction 27.06.2026 | Chinese Super League

Henan come into Saturday’s fixture looking to build on a 2-0 win at Lushan in the CFA Cup last weekend. Second-half goals from Liu Jiahui and Zhong Yihao secured domestic cup progression for Daniel Ramos’s side.

The Red Devils have been in decent form, picking up five wins while losing just two of their last eight fixtures. Henan had endured a poor start to the season, failing to win eight of their first nine games of the season. 

Ramos’s side have shown they can compete with stronger opponents, and their 2-1 win against Shanghai Port earlier this season should give them confidence before this weekend’s encounter. 

Henan have a full squad available this weekend. Changjie Du could come into the side after a substitute appearance last time out. 

CSL champions Shanghai Port make the trip to Zhengzhou after an underwhelming first half of the Chinese Super League season.

Kevin Muscat’s side return to CSL business after a narrow 2-1 CFA Cup win against Shanghai Second last weekend. Goals from Zhang Linpeng and Liu Zhurun secured progress to the next phase for the Red Eagles. 

A poor run of form in the Super Leaague has seen Port win just one of their last seven league fixtures. 

Head coach Muscat is unable to call on several players this weekend. Shanghai Port make the trip to Zhengzhou with several injury concerns to deal with. Gabrielzinho remains sidelined with a serious patellar tendon injury, while Jean Claude is also unavailable because of a knee problem.

Jiwen Kuai has been out since April with a laceration issue, while Tyias Browning is another defensive absentee after picking up a knee injury earlier this month. Yuan Zhang is also doubtful with muscular problems.
