Norway returned to the World Cup after 28 years, and many pundits see them as a potential dark horse at the tournament. Stale Solbakken's team were impressive in the first two matches, especially in the attack. In the opening round, Norway beat Iraq 4-1. A few days later, the task was significantly harder, but the Vikings won 3-2 against Senegal. Norway are behind France in the standings only due to goal difference and will need a victory on Friday to finish top of the group and get an easier opponent in the 1/16 final. 

Norway's biggest concern is the status of Julian Ryerson. The player suffered right thigh discomfort during the game against Senegal and left the pitch in the 13th minute. Given that Norway have already secured a knockout phase, we shouldn't expect Ryerson to play on Friday. Marcus Pedersen, who scored in the previous match, should start. 

France are one of the best teams in the world, and Les Blues are hoping to win their third trophy at the most prestigious tournament this year in the USA. Didier Deschamps' team is in impressive form with seven wins in the last eight matches. France have been convincing so far at the World Cup. After they beat Senegal 3-1 in the first round, Deschamps' team won 3-0 against Iraq. Now, France needs only a draw in the final group match to secure the top position in the group. 

All French players will be available for the game in Boston on Friday. However, the team will be without head coach Didier Deschamps, who left following the death of his mother. He will attend the funeral and won't lead his team against Norway. In his absence, assistant coach Guy Stephan will run the squad.
