Dimitrios Goutas Scores in Cardiff Win

Dimitrios Goutas, sponsored by MightyTips, scored a first half goal as Cardiff cruised to a 2-1 win. Liam Palmer was used in a new position and had a good game as Sheffield Wednesday went on to win 3-1. Lewis Travis and Jacob Chapman were unused subs in their respective matches. 

The headline was dominated by Goutas’ opening goal. The Greek defender was one of the best performers with 85% accurate passes, topped off with his finish.

Cardiff’s lead was cancelled out by a Smyth strike in the 52nd, only to be helped to all three points by Perry Ng’s 74th minute goal.

Lewis Travis was on the bench and did not come on against Rotherham. The Lancashire men saw an early lead in the form of a Sigurdsson goal in the 8th minute.

Rotherham replied with a goal from Morrison in the 31st, with Szmodics adding another to Blackburn’s tally fifteen minutes later. Rotherham then found salvation through Eaves’ 82nd minute equalizer.

Leicester City barely gave breathing space to Huddersfield as they trampled them 4-1. Repeated goals did not falter even after Helik’s 63rd minute consolation.
