November promises to be another great month for all sports fans. The Formula One season has four events, as Kimi Antonelli and Mercedes are ready to celebrate their well-deserved titles. The tennis season is right near the finish line, and we'll have WTA, ATP and Davis Cup Finals one after the other.
UFC 334 in Madison Square Garden has two title fights, the lovers of darts and snooker are waiting for the start of major tournaments, while Denmark will host the Women's Ice Hockey World Championship. MightyTips previews the biggest sports events in the last month of autumn 2026.

Formula 1 heads into the closing stages of the 2026 season with four Grands Prix across Mexico, Brazil, the United States and Qatar. The biggest storyline is Kimi Antonelli's remarkable title campaign: the Mercedes driver is very close to becoming the youngest world champion in history. The high-altitude Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, the unpredictable Interlagos circuit in São Paulo, Las Vegas's spectacular street track and Qatar's fast Lusail layout offer very different challenges. George Russell remains Antonelli's closest rival, while Charles Leclerc and Max Verstappen will be looking to capitalise on any mistakes.
Denmark will host the 2026 Women's Ice Hockey World Championship in Herning and Esbjerg. Ten national teams will compete under a revised format designed to create a more balanced preliminary stage, adding extra intrigue to the race for the playoffs. The United States and Canada remain the leading gold-medal contenders, while Czechia, Switzerland, Finland and Sweden will look to challenge the traditional powers. Canada open its campaign against Sweden, while the United States face Switzerland in an early Group A test. Finland were the last European team to make the final in 2019, and it's pretty safe to say that we'll have a traditional battle between the defending champions, the USA, and Canada in the decisive match.
The WTA Finals will bring the women's tennis season to a close at Indian Wells Tennis Garden in California, an unusual change of setting for the prestigious year-end championship. The leading contenders include Aryna Sabalenka, Elena Rybakina, Coco Gauff, Jessica Pegula and Mirra Andreeva. Sabalenka's powerful baseline game makes her a major contender, while Rybakina's serve and Gauff's athleticism could prove decisive on the hard courts. The round-robin format gives players some room to recover from an early defeat, but every set matters when semifinal places are at stake. Rybakina is the defending champion, having defeated Sabalenka in straight sets last year.
UFC 334 promises a major night of mixed martial arts at Madison Square Garden in New York, with two championship fights leading the card. Heavyweight champion Ciryl Gane will defend his belt against American challenger Josh Hokit, while women's bantamweight champion Kayla Harrison faces former two-division champion Amanda Nunes. The Harrison vs Nunes matchup is particularly interesting; Nunes returns from retirement to challenge a champion renowned for her wrestling and Olympic judo background. Gane, meanwhile, should use his movement and striking skills to contain Hokit's aggressive approach. Another major storyline is Stephen Thompson's scheduled retirement fight against Charles Radtke. With two titles on the line and several established names involved, this will be another amazing event.
The Grand Slam of Darts returns to Wolverhampton, bringing together leading players from across the professional circuit for one of the season's most prestigious titles. Luke Littler is the standout favourite after an exceptional campaign that has included multiple major victories, however, he suffered a dip in form in recent tournaments. Luke Humphries, Gerwyn Price, Ross Smith and Gian van Veen are also the names to watch after strong results in major competitions. The tournament's group-stage format makes consistency especially important before the pressure rises in the knockout rounds. High scoring is essential, but clinical finishing on doubles often separates the best from the rest. Littler is the champion, but can he defend the title?
Turin's Inalpi Arena will host the ATP Finals, where the leading men's players of the season compete for the year-end crown. Alexander Zverev and Carlos Alcaraz are among the headline names, while Ben Shelton and Alex de Minaur bring contrasting styles and plenty of firepower. The major talking point is Jannik Sinner's reported withdrawal due to injury, a significant blow for the home crowd and a development that reshapes the title race. Zverev's experience as a two-time champion makes him a serious contender, while Alcaraz will be eager to finish the campaign with a prestigious trophy. The Spaniard lost the final to Sinner last year, and he will have extra motivation to go one step further this time round.
Bologna, Italy, will welcome the eight remaining nations for the Davis Cup Final 8, with the BolognaFiere Arena hosting the knockout stage. Defending champions Italy are chasing a fourth consecutive title, but their task is complicated by Jannik Sinner's absence following his decision to end his 2026 season early because of injury. Lorenzo Musetti, Flavio Cobolli and Luciano Darderi will lead the Italian challenge. Spain, featuring Carlos Alcaraz, Germany with Alexander Zverev, and Czechia are among the strongest challengers. Great Britain, Canada, Austria and South Korea complete the field. Unlike individual tournaments, Davis Cup ties combine singles and doubles, making team selection and chemistry essential. Home support could give Italy an advantage, but the knockout format leaves little room for mistakes.
The UK Championship returns to York's Barbican Centre as snooker's leading players compete for one of the sport's most prestigious trophies. As a Triple Crown event, it carries particular significance for established champions and emerging talents alike. Zhao Xintong is the leading contender, followed by Judd Trump, Wu Yize and Ronnie O'Sullivan. The biggest challenge is maintaining consistency across a tournament in which tactical discipline can be just as important as break-building ability. With ranking points, prize money and Triple Crown prestige on offer, York should provide compelling tactical battles and potentially dramatic finishes. Mark Selby is the defending champion, sitting at 8.00 to retain the title.
