The UEFA Europa League is just around the corner, with another exciting season of European football ahead. Last year belonged to Aston Villa, who lifted the trophy and are now competing in the Champions League.

This season, we have a new pack of leading favourites, along with several dark horses capable of making a deep run. Read our article as MightyTips previews the Europa League winner odds, breaks down the top contenders for the trophy, and makes some outright predictions.

Below are the latest Europa League outright winner odds, with Juventus, AC Milan and Bayer Leverkusen entering the season as the three leading favourites.

Let's analyse the five leading favourites to win the Europa League this season. We'll look at their biggest summer transfers, current squads, and the experience they can bring to the table in Europe.

Juventus

Juventus are the main favourites to win the trophy this season, despite coming off a disappointing domestic campaign. They finished sixth in Serie A last year, missing out on the Champions League.

Dusan Vlahovic was the biggest name to leave Juventus this summer after his contract expired, but the club was quick to find replacements. Randal Kolo Muani and Nick Woltemade were both brought in to strengthen the attack, giving Luciano Spalletti two new options up front. Pape Matar Sarr also joined the midfield, with Jhon Lucumí and Zeki Çelik adding more depth in defence. Juventus also brought in two new goalkeepers, Guglielmo Vicario and Kamil Grabara.

On paper, this squad is one of the strongest and deepest in the competition. Spalletti also has plenty of experience at the highest level, and there aren't many teams in this Europa League field that can match Juve's continental pedigree.

AC Milan

Another Italian giant is looking to bounce back after a disappointing season. Their biggest change came on the touchline, with Rúben Amorim replacing Massimiliano Allegri. Amorim's spell at Manchester United did not go particularly well, but his start in Milan has been much more promising. The Rossoneri are unbeaten after their first four Serie A games, including a 1-1 draw away to Juventus.

Milan's squad looks quite different compared to last season. Rafael Leão is no longer at the club after completing his move to Galatasaray, and both Santiago Gimenez and Samuele Ricci have moved on as well. In attack, Rúben Amorim can now count on Gonçalo Ramos, signed from PSG, with Diego Moreira giving an alternative option out wide. Mario Gila was another important addition, bringing extra quality and depth to the back line.

There is still a lot to prove under Amorim, but Milan have started well and have plenty of European experience in the squad. With the second-shortest odds in the market, they are certainly one of the main teams to watch.

Bayer Leverkusen

The Germans didn't have the strongest domestic season last year, yet they are still here in the Europa League. The club made a bold move by appointing Carles Martínez as their new manager. It's the coach who helped shape Toulouse into a decent and competitive side in Ligue 1.

Bayer didn't lose much of their original squad from the previous season but strengthened it significantly. For the front line, Afonso Moreira and Moussa Diaby came in, and the back line now has Facundo Medina and Guéla Doué.

Bayer have had a mixed start to the Bundesliga season, but the new coach looks to be on the right trajectory. Leverkusen also have plenty of recent experience in this competition, having reached the Europa League final in 2024.

Bournemouth

Bournemouth are probably the most interesting team among the leading Europa League favourites. Last season, they finished sixth in the Premier League and qualified for European football for the first time in the club's history. However, the man behind that success, Andoni Iraola, left the club and was replaced by Marco Rose.

Unlike last summer, Bournemouth managed to keep most of their key players. Alex Scott and Rayan remain important parts of the team, and Eli Junior Kroupi scored double figures in his first Premier League season. Bournemouth also added some much-needed depth, with António Silva arriving from Benfica.

The biggest question is how this squad will handle European football for the first time, especially with the Thursday-Sunday schedule. Rose has experience in European competitions from his time in Germany, and Bournemouth have enough quality to surprise a few teams.

Marseille

The 2025/26 season was a difficult one for the Olympians. They started the campaign in the Champions League but struggled in the second half of the season and eventually finished fifth in Ligue 1. A 3-1 win against Rennes on the final day secured their place in the Europa League.

There is also a new manager in charge, with Bruno Génésio taking over after two successful seasons at Lille. Marseille lost several important players during the summer. Mason Greenwood left after scoring 37 league goals across his two seasons at the club, Facundo Medina joined Bayer Leverkusen, and Gerónimo Rulli moved to Manchester City. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang also left, meaning there will be more responsibility on Igor Paixão and Amine Gouiri in attack.

Despite those departures, there is still plenty of quality in this squad. Quinten Timber and Pierre-Emile Højbjerg give Marseille a strong midfield, and Timothy Weah remains another important player. Génésio also knows Ligue 1 and European football very well, so Marseille certainly have enough to compete for the Europa League this season.

Rennes are our pick to finish inside the top eight during the league phase. They have started the new season in good shape, taking a point against PSG before beating both Le Mans and Angers.

More importantly, their Europa League draw gives them a great chance to collect points consistently. Juventus will obviously be the biggest test, but the rest of the schedule looks much more comfortable. Rennes should be favourites in several of those games, especially against the likes of OFI Crete, Omonia and Sturm Graz.

There is always a chance of dropping points in Europe, but Rennes don't need to be perfect. If they take care of the games where they are expected to win, they should collect enough points to finish among the top eight.

This year’s Europa League feels very open, and that's one of the main reasons why we're going with AC Milan. There are plenty of good teams in the competition, but none of them look unbeatable. Milan have enough individual quality to make the difference, especially with players like Goncalo Ramos and Mike Maignan in the squad.

Amorim also has a good opportunity to put his difficult spell at Manchester United behind him. His first few games in Italy have gone well, and Milan already look like a team that can be difficult to beat.

Juventus are slightly ahead of them in the outright odds, but we don't see a big difference between the two sides. At 8.50, Milan look like the more interesting option.
