Getafe vs Elche prediction 28.11.2025 | La Liga

Getafe come into Friday's La Liga contest looking to bounce back from consecutive 1:0 defeats. The Azulone fell to a single goal reversal at Mallorca before a similarly narrow setback against Atletico Madrid in last weekend's matchup at the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez.

Having made a strong start to the campaign with three wins in their first four La Liga games, José Bordalás's side have since won just two of nine league fixtures. 

Low-scoring outcomes have been a frequent occurrence for the home side. Under 2.5 goals were scored in five of their last seven league games, while each of Getafe's last 20 league games finished with fewer than four goals scored.

Head coach Bordalás has four selection issues to deal with this weekend. Davinchi is ruled out while Abdelkabir Abqar and Mario Martín are both suspended. Yvan Neyou is doubtful and will be assessed closer to kick-off.

Elche arrive at the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez in high spirits after holding Real Madrid to a 2:2 draw last weekend. Álvaro Rodriguez's late goal secured a well-deserved point for Eder Sarabia Armesto's men. 

Despite their improved performance against Los Blancos, Elche remain winless in their last six La Liga matches (D3, L3). Los Franjiverdes remain 10th in the division, one point behind Getafe.

The visitors have struggled on their travels this season, failing to win any of six away fixtures. Elche scored an average of one goal per game in those matches.

Head coach Armesto has just a couple of selection concerns this weekend. Víctor Chust is suspended while Josan will be assessed ahead of kick-off.
