FC Jazz come into Thursday’s Finnish league fixture after a 1:1 draw against Inter Turku II last time out. Joonas Lakkamäki’s late goal secured a share of the spoils for Tero Suonpera’s side.

The hosts have struggled for consistency this season, with defensive issues proving costly. Without a win in their last three matches, Jazz failed to keep a clean sheet in seven of their last eight games.

Jazz have conceded 18 goals in 11 league matches this season, and they will need to tighten up against an in-form opponent on Thursday. 

After a bright start to the campaign, Suonpera’s side picked up just two points from their last three games, and now sit seventh in the division, 11 points behind Tampere. 

Head coach Suonpera could look to make changes after Jazz’s draw against Inter Turku II.  Arttu Furuholm is among those hoping to earn a first-team recall.

Tampere United arrive at Porin Stadion in superb form after a 3:0 win against OLS Oulu. Lui Bradbury was among the goal as the in-form visitors secured the points at Tammelan stadion.

Topi Priha’s side have now won five successive Ykkonen matches and sit top of the table, four points clear of RoPS. 

The visitors have been in superb form at both ends of the park, with 14 goals scored and zero conceded in their last five victories. 

On the road, Tampere have been excellent, securing four successive away victories ahead of their trip to Porin Stadium this week.

Head coach Priha is set to name the same side that eased past OLS. Tampere have no reported injury issues this week.
