Armenia face their final fixture of the summer following a 1:1 draw with Kazakhstan last Saturday. Eduard Spertsyan’s 12th international goal rescued a share of the spoils for Yeghishe Melikyan’s side. 

Before Saturday’s draw, Armenia had endured a miserable run of five successive defeats, while they have won only one of their last 12 matches.

An inability to keep clean sheets make the BTTS pick a solid looking choice this week. Armenia have seen both teams score in each of their last seven international friendly fixtures, and in three of their four most recent home matches. 

Head coach Melikyan has a 27-man squad available for Tuesday’s friendly fixture. Grant-Leon Ranos is expected to win his 26th cap while Eduard Spertsyan will captain the side after scoring in the draw against Kazakhstan.

Moldova make the trip to Hanrapetakan Stadium after an entertaining 2:2 draw with Bulgaria last weekend. Captain Vladislav Baboglo bagged his third international goal as the Moldovans twice fought back from behind to claim a draw against their Eastern European rivals. 

Ranked 159th in the world - over 50 places below Armenia - Moldova have now failed to win any of their last 14 international fixtures, but have picked up draws against Estonia and the aforementioned Bulgarians since October 2025. 

While Lilian Popescu’s side have struggled to find much winning form, they have been able to hit the target frequently in recent fixtures. The Tricolours scored two goals in their last two matches against Bulgaria and Cyprus (3:2) while they have only failed to score in two of their last eight games. 

As a consequence, BTTS has been a frequent occurrence, landing in six of those eight fixtures. 

Head coach Popescu has a 23 man-squad to choose from this week. Ștefan Bîtca could come into the first XI after a substitute appearance last weekend.
