Hayden Carter - Blackburn Rovers

Carter enjoyed three games in April. One of which he put in a sublime performance to help Blackburn win 1-0 away against a tough Leeds side.

Hayden kept a clean sheet while playing right center-back as part of a back three.

Onwards from that game, Carter broke into the starting lineup and had also played 90 minutes against Sheffield and Coventry.

Blackburn Rovers opened their account in May by smashing promotion hopefuls Leicester City 2-0 - courtesy of a Szmodics brace. Blackburn now sit 19th and safe from relegation.

Liam Palmer - Sheffield Wednesday

After a horrible start to the season, Sheffield Wednesday escaped their seemingly inevitable relegation doom. Palmer has been a crucial part of the escape plan, and had played five games in April.

His best game came against Stoke City in which they drew 1-1. Palmer’s 89 minutes saw him bag the only goal which was eventually leveled by Stoke a few minutes later.

Liam added another goal to his name on May 4th, netting the opener in Sheffield’s 2-0 win over Sunderland - sealing Sheffield’s 20th position in the league.

Dimitrios Goutas - Cardiff City

The Greek infamously played almost every game for Cardiff City this year, showing his impeccable resilience.

In April, Goutas had two good games - a stellar performance away against Coventry (2-1 win) and another away performance to Birmingham (1-0 win).

In May, Cardiff City fell to a disappointing 5-2 defeat at the hands of Rotherham to end their season 12th.

Conor Falls - Huddersfield Town

The youngster has not been picked for the senior Huddersfield side, meaning he hadn't played for the team yet.

However, the youngster has three appearances and a goal for their under 21 side.

Huddersfield seem to be in poor form having not won any of their last five games - meaning they finish the season 23rd, and relegated to the EFL League One.
