4-2 win for Lewis Travis and Blackburn

An eventful evening in Lancashire as Lewis Travis played 45 minutes helping Blackburn to a 4-2 win against Birmingham. Liam Palmer came on in the 62nd minute to secure a 1-1 draw for Sheffield Wednesday, and Jacob Chapman was an unused substitute in Huddersfield’s 2-1 win in Sunderland.

Lewis Travis started the match at right-back and played 45 minutes before being subbed off at half-time as a precaution for his booking. He registered 79% accurate passes and 21 touches of the ball, including one in the opposition box. 

Blackburn bagged their first goal in the 47th minute through Szmodics who added another five minutes later.

Goals from Hill and Leonard ensured a win for Blackburn. Birmingham City scored two consolation goals through Dembele in the second half.

Leicester went in front in the 23rd minute thanks to Issahaku, but Sheffield managed a dramatic late equalizer in stoppage time as Hendrick found the net.

Sunderland 1-2 Huddersfield

Jacob Chapman was selected for the squad but did not come on.

A goal in the 28th minute from Helik put Huddersfield in front only for O’Nien to level the score in the 40th. Burgzorg stepped up and made it 2-1 in the 67th, and Huddersfield did well to see out the game.
