Serbia U19 vs Ukraine U19 prediction 02.07.2026 | EURO U19

Serbia U19 had a decent first part of the Qualifiers, finishing 2nd in the group with Croatia U19, Georgia U19, and Gibraltar U19 in a tournament which was played in Croatia. However, they impressed the most in the second part of it as they eventually won the second phase against super-strong competition from England U19, Portugal U19, and Poland U19. Unfortunately, they opened this EURO U19 with a 2:0 loss to Italy U19.

A big part of this loss to Italy U19 is that Serbia U19 is missing many players who were essential in the Qualifiers. Vasilije Kostov, Andrej Bacanin, Andrija Maksimovic, Mihajlo Cvetkovic, and Adem Avdic are missing due to injuries or simply because their clubs did not allow them to play in this EURO U19.

Ukraine U19 pretty easily secured the EURO U19, but we have to be honest and say they haven't had a challenging route in either of the two Qualifier stages. The fact that they secured a 5-1-0 record and had a 14:1 goal difference says a lot about their path to the EURO U19. In the first game of the tournament, Ukraine U19 won 3:1 against Croatia U19 despite the Croats taking an early 1:0 lead and being a pretty big favorite by the bookies.

The most important absence for Ukraine U19 is that of Bogdan Redushko. The young winger is possibly their best player, but Dynamo Kyiv did not allow him to travel to Wales for the EURO U19.
