Last season, these teams met twice. PSG won both games, 3:0 at home and 1:0 on theroad. However, even in that 1:0 win, PSG dominated and deserved to win by a bigger margin. Looking further back, over the past ten h2h games, PSG won nine times, while the remaining game ended in a draw.
When it comes to the number of goals, seven out of the last ten h2h games ended with three or more goals, while both teams scored in four of them.
Le Havre team overview
Last season, Le Havre avoided the relegation battle by only three points. This season, the main goal is to survive once again. However, that will not be an easy task given the fact that they started this season terribly. After the first eight rounds, they are glued to the bottom of Ligue 1 with a mere two points! Right now, they are in terrible form coming into this game, losing the last four games. They are the only winless team in the league and will look for their first win of the season against the reigning champs.
After a 4:3 loss to Marseille, coach Didier Digard spoke to the media. He said they conceded three goals from set pieces, which was unacceptable, particularly given their difficult situation. The coach described their defending as embarrassing and stressed that they need to work on that part of their game.
When it comes to injuries, there are no new ones, but Stephan Zagadou, Abdoulaye Toure, Lionel Mpasi-Nzau, Felix Mambimbi, and Elias Jelert should remain sidelined with their injuries.

PSG team overview
PSG had a slower start to the season, and many football pundits started doubting them a little. However, as the season progressed, the Parisians only looked better and better. They proved this with their latest eight-game winning streak, during which they beat teams like Manchester City, Barcelona, and eventually Lyon in the last game.
However, in recent games, a few of PSG's key players suffered injuries: Nuno Mendes, Marquinhos, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, and Ousmane Dembele. That could highly affect their performances in the upcoming period.
After the Lyon game (2:1 win), coach Luis Enrique spoke to the media. He praised their defensive performance and dedicated the win to the injured Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. The coach noted they struggled against Lyon's defensive organization in the first half, but eventually created enough chances in the second half and deservedly won.

Prediction
Considering how well PSG played in recent games, and the fact they scored easily against teams like Barcelona and Manchester City, we have no doubt they will do the same against Le Havre, which had one clean sheet in eight games this season.
However, PSG had some issues defensively this season and rarely kept a clean sheet. In 12 games across competitions, we saw a BTTS - YES in nine of their games - 75%. On the road, that number is even higher, at 83% (five out of six).
When it comes to Le Havre, their results have been pretty bad this season, but they still managed to score in five out of eight games. And in the last game, they managed to score three against Marseille and could score against PSG as well.
Considering all the above, we believe that BTTS - YES is the safest option for this Ligue 1 tie.
4 Reasons why we should see both teams scoring
- Both teams scored in Le Havre's back-to-back games against Marseille and Auxerre
- Le Havre scored in five out of eight games
- PSG scored in 11 out of 12 games
- We saw BTTS - YES in five out of six PSG's road games
