Willem II are bottom of the Eredivisie standings with just two points from 11 matches. They have yet to record a league victory, drawing twice and losing nine times. 

The hosts have also lost five consecutive league matches, conceding 20 goals during that period. Their latest disappointment was a humiliating 7-0 defeat against PSV Eindhoven over the weekend, following a 6-1 home loss to SC Cambuur.

Devin Haen remains their leading goalscorer with three league goals, but Willem II need considerably more attacking contributions from the rest of their squad.

Team news is another concern for Streppel, who could be without nine players. Among the reported absentees are K. Boogaard, Vito van Crooij, Justin Hoogma and Tom Didillon Hodl. Hidde ter Avest is also doubtful, while Jari Slory is suspended following his dismissal in the KNVB Beker cup tie.

Koen Kostons is their main attacking threat, having scored 11 goals according to the latest player statistics. His availability will be particularly important, while Kaj de Rooij has contributed three assists.

PEC Zwolle also have several injury concerns. Ibrahim Cissoko, Ryan Thomas, Filip Krastev, Jamiro Monteiro's midfield colleague Jamiro Burger, Sherel Floranus and Younes Namli are among the reported absentees. However, Kostons is available for selection.
