Viking FK take on Sabah on Wednesday evening as the Norwegian side look to claim their first Champions League league-phase victory.
Both teams come into this contest in losing form. The hosts suffered a narrow defeat at Bodo Glimt on Friday, while Sabah slipped to an away reversal against Turan Tovuz.
Viking have been strong in home fixtures, though, and will fancy their chances of claiming the points at Lyse Arena.
Viking FK team overview
Viking return to UEFA Champions League action after an entertaining 3:2 defeat against Norwegian title rivals Bodo Glimt on Friday evening.
An early own goal and an Andreas Helmersen strike gave Bodo a two-goal lead, but goals from Kristoffer Haugen and Erik Botheim brought the visitors level before Jens Petter Hauge scored Bodo's winner shortly before half-time.
Despite plenty of chances created, FK fell to only their fourth Eliteserien defeat of the season.
Friday's setback came on the back of an impressive 3:1 home victory against Tromso five days earlier. Bjarte Lunde Aarsheim’s side have been strong at Lyse Arena, picking up wins in eight of their last nine home fixtures. They also secured a thrilling 3:3 draw against Bayern Munich at this venue.
Viking scored at least three goals in each of their last five home fixtures, while over 2.5 goals were scored in each of nine games since July.
The entertaining draw against Bayern remains Viking's only point from three Champions League matches. The hosts also lost 3:1 against Stuttgart and Aston Villa, scoring five goals and conceding nine across their opening three league-phase games.
Viking have several injury concerns ahead of Wednesday's Champions League clash.
Sondre Bjorshol, Nicholas D'Agostino and Martin Roseth are sidelined with knee injuries, while Veton Berisha remains unavailable with a thigh problem.
Anders Baertelsen is also expected to miss out as he continues his recovery from a broken foot.

Sabah FK team overview
Sabah make the trip to Norway after a 3:2 defeat against Turan Tovuz in the Azerbaijan Premier League on Friday afternoon.
Valdas Dambrauskas' side fell three goals behind before Joy-Lance Mickels pulled one back in the second half. Xander Severina scored a late second, but Sabah were unable to complete an unlikely comeback.
The Azerbaijan champions have now failed to win each of their last three fixtures. Sabah were held to a goalless home draw against Qarabag in a domestic fixture after Dortmund secured a 2:1 win at Baki Olimpiya Stadionu.
Dambrauskas' side did secure a first-ever UCL league phase win with a 2:0 success against Slavia Praha last month. Sabah now sit 25th in the Champions League standings with three points on the board from three games.
On the road, FK have struggled, with defeats recorded in each of their last three away European fixtures, including a 4:0 reversal at Man Utd.
Head coach Dambrauskas has no reported injury issue ahead of the trip to Norway.
Rwandan forward Joy-Lance Mickels is expected to lead the Sabah attack.

Prediction
Viking have a particularly strong home record, with high-scoring victories frequent at the domestic level.
Given their strong showing against Bayern last month, I expect the hosts to claim an entertaining win on Wednesday.
I have my stake on Viking FK to win with at least three match goals.
Three Reasons Why We Expect Viking FK to Win/Over 2.5 Goals
- Viking FK won 8 of their last 9 home matches
- Viking FK have seen over 2.5 goals in their last 9 home matches
- Sabah FK lost their last 3 away matches (European competitions)
Main prediction Viking - Sabah
Home/Over 2.5
