Strasbourg vs Auxerre prediction 01.11.2026 | Ligue 1

Strasbourg have taken just one point from their last five Ligue 1 matches, losing their last four. It should be noted, however, that two of those four defeats came against the Ligue 1 leaders, PSG and Rennes, while Strasbourg’s home form remains acceptable, with one win, one draw and one defeat from their three matches so far.

Captain Ismaël Doukouré has returned to full training after missing the last three matches, although his availability for the starting XI remains uncertain. 

Sebastian Nanasi is doubtful, while Fábio Baldé, Deivid Washington and Joaquín Panichelli are unavailable. Panichelli's absence is particularly significant given his importance in attack.

Auxerre have been much more competitive after a poor start to the campaign. Will Still's side have won three, drawn one and lost four of their eight league matches, with their recent 3-1 victory at Le Havre followed by a 1-1 draw against Le Mans. 

Their attacking underlying numbers are also encouraging, with Auxerre averaging around 1.6 xG per match, which should put Strasbourg’s fragile defence, having conceded 18 goals in eight games, to the test.

Auxerre are expected to be without Bryan Okoh, Assane Dioussé, Sékou Fofana, Telli Siwe and Rémy Labeau-Lascary. Marvin Senaya is also a doubt after suffering another hamstring problem.
