Sandefjord had an excellent last season, finishing 5th, which is one of their biggest results ever. This year, after a pretty good start, they started slowing down as the season progressed. They won just one point in three games before the break, and it seemed that the break came at a really great moment. However, after winning one point in two games after the break, we could see that those struggles had continued. 

Jakob Vester served his one-game suspension against Viking in the previous game and will be available. Still, the 21-year-old has been far from impressive this year, and there is a big question whether he has his place in the starting eleven.

On 19th July, central defender Stian Kristiansen left the club to join Lillestrom. However, young Rasmus Holten was already a replacement two days earlier, and we expect him to start.

Bodo/Glimt failed to win the title last year, missing it only by one point. However, they were simply amazing in the Champions League, beating the best teams like Manchester City, Atletico Madrid, and Inter to be later eliminated by Sporting CP in a super-close duel. Because of that Champions League campaign, they pretty much haven't had a break, and it will be interesting to see how it impacts them. But for now, they are looking great, as they already won the domestic cup title and are one point away from the first-placed Viking, although with one game played more. 

After a 3:0 win over Ham Kam, coach Kjetil Knutsen spoke to the media. He was very happy with the performance and the result, calling it a team effort and saying this was a step in the right direction. The coach also praised the players who remained at the club while the others competed in the WC. But, generally, it was evident that the coach was very happy with the squad.
