- Kickoff: 16:00 UK / 17:00 CEST
- Venue: Jotun Arena (Sandefjord)
After a break in June, Norwegian Eliteserien restarted earlier this month. On Sunday, Sandefjord will welcome one of the hottest teams in the league at the moment, Bodo/Glimt. The hosts won just one point in the first two games after the break against HamKam and Viking, while the visitors strung three wins in a row after the break, beating KFUM Oslo, Fredrikstad, and HamKam.
Let's break down the game and find the best possible bet for this Eliteserien tie.

Last season, these teams met twice, with Bodo/Glimt winning both games - 2:0 at home and 2:1 on the road. Looking further back, over the past ten h2h games, Sandefjord won twice, while Bodo/Glimt won seven times.
When it comes to the number of goals, six out of the past ten h2h games ended with three or more goals, while both teams scored in seven of those ten games.
Sandefjord team overview
Sandefjord had an excellent last season, finishing 5th, which is one of their biggest results ever. This year, after a pretty good start, they started slowing down as the season progressed. They won just one point in three games before the break, and it seemed that the break came at a really great moment. However, after winning one point in two games after the break, we could see that those struggles had continued.
Jakob Vester served his one-game suspension against Viking in the previous game and will be available. Still, the 21-year-old has been far from impressive this year, and there is a big question whether he has his place in the starting eleven.
On 19th July, central defender Stian Kristiansen left the club to join Lillestrom. However, young Rasmus Holten was already a replacement two days earlier, and we expect him to start.

Bodo/Glimt team overview
Bodo/Glimt failed to win the title last year, missing it only by one point. However, they were simply amazing in the Champions League, beating the best teams like Manchester City, Atletico Madrid, and Inter to be later eliminated by Sporting CP in a super-close duel. Because of that Champions League campaign, they pretty much haven't had a break, and it will be interesting to see how it impacts them. But for now, they are looking great, as they already won the domestic cup title and are one point away from the first-placed Viking, although with one game played more.
After a 3:0 win over Ham Kam, coach Kjetil Knutsen spoke to the media. He was very happy with the performance and the result, calling it a team effort and saying this was a step in the right direction. The coach also praised the players who remained at the club while the others competed in the WC. But, generally, it was evident that the coach was very happy with the squad.

Prediction
With 13 goals in 13 rounds, Sandefjord are one of the worst offensive teams in the league, currently tied with KFUM for the second-worst. However, a solid defense keeps them fairly high on the league's table. Because of that combination of poor offense and an OK defense, they went under 3.5 goals in 10 out of 13 games - 77%.
Meanwhile, Bodo/Glimt went under 3.5 goals in all three games after the break. The defense has evidently been amazing as they kept a clean sheet in all three games, and we doubt they will slow down.
Also, last season, both H2H games finished under 3.5 goals. Moreover, the last four h2h games ended with fewer than four goals. Considering all the above, an under 3.5 goals bet seems like the most likely scenario for this Eliteserien tie.
4 Reasons why we should see fewer than four goals
- Sandefjord went under 3.5 goals in 10 out of 13 league games
- Sandefjord scored 13 goals in 13 rounds
- Bodo/Glimt went under 3.5 goals in all three games after the break
- The last four h2h games finished with fewer than four goals
Main prediction Sandefjord - Bodo/Glimt
Under 3.5 goals
