Pisa vs Lecce prediction 01.05.2026 | Serie A

Pisa come into Friday’s Serie A contest in the midst of another dismal losing run. The hosts slipped to a fifth successive defeat against Parma (1:0) last weekend. 

With just one win recorded since November, and only two all season, Oscar Hiljemark’s side find themselves cut adrift at the bottom of Serie A. I Nerazzurri find themselves 11 points from safety with just 12 points available from four remaining fixtures.

A lack of quality in the final third has been the biggest issue for the home side. Pisa scored just 24 goals in 34 Serie A games, and only eight in 17 home fixtures. An average of just 1.7 goals per game were scored in those fixtures.

Head coach Hiljemark has three injury concerns this weekend. Marius Marin (muscle), Matteo Tramoni and Rafiu Durosinmi are all doubtful to feature.

Lecce make their way to the Arena Garibaldi-Romeo Anconetani after back-to-back Serie A draws picked up in the last fortnight. After a 1:1 draw with Fiorentina, Eusebio Di Francesco’s side secured a goalless draw at struggling Verona. 

Those draws lifted Lecce out of the drop zone, with the visitors now 17th in the division, one point ahead of Cremonese. 

A poor run of form has seen the visitors fail to win their last six games, while they have recorded just one win in nine previous Serie A fixtures. 

Like the home side, Lecce have struggled to find much form in front of goal this season. I Giallorossi scored just 22 goals in 34 Serie A fixtures, and only ten in 17 road contests. 

Head coach Di Francesco has four potential absentees for Friday’s Serie A matchup. Medon Berisha (hamstring) and Sadik Fofana (ligament) are ruled out through injury, while Kialonda Gaspar (knee) and Riccardo Sottil (muscle) are both doubtful.
