Real Zaragoza return to action after a disappointing 1:0 defeat against local rivals Huesca last weekend. 

Goalkeeper Esteban Andrada has been handed a 13-match ban after punching Huesca captain Jorge Pulido following his red card in Sunday’s derby. The Argentine had already been sent off before running back onto the pitch to strike Pulido in a shocking post-match incident.

A miserable run of form in April sees the hosts winless in their last five games, and they now find themselves inside the relegation zone with just five games to play.

Head coach David Navarro Arenaz has three confirmed absentees this weekend. Esteban Andrada is suspended, while Paulino de la Fuente and Valery Fernández are also unavailable with injury issues.

Granada makes the trip to Ibercaja Estadio looking to bounce back from a 4:2 home defeat against Almeria. Pedro Alemañ opened the scoring before the visitors responded with four unanswered strikes to secure a commanding road win. 

Pacheta’s side have struggled to maintain consistency in their performances in recent weeks with four wins and four defeats recorded in nine previous fixtures since the start of March. 

Defensive issues have seen the visitors concede at least one goal in six of their last eight matches. Five of those games finished with BTTS, including four of their six most recent fixtures.

Head coach Pacheta has just one confirmed absentee this weekend. Luca Zidane remains a long-term absentee.
