Newcastle are playing a disastrous season thus far. To be fair, their Champions League run wasn't bad, as they reached the 1/8 Finals, where Barcelona eventually dismantled them on an 8:3 aggregate. However, in the Premier League, the Magpies were absolutely disappointing, especially in the last part of the season. They lost four in a row in the PL and heavily complicated their situation. Now, they are in 14th place with 42 points - seven points away from the desired 7th place and the European appearance next season. Even though there is still a mathematical chance of securing it, the Magpies would need a miracle to do so. 

Joelinton missed the previous two games due to suspension and will be available for the upcoming game. Meanwhile, Anthony Gordon, Fabian Schar, Valentino Livramento, and Emil Krafth should remain sidelined with their injuries.

Brighton are in a completely different momentum. After being pretty inconsistent in the first part of the season, it seems the Seagulls have found their rhythm and are playing their best football of the season. Right now, the Seagulls are probably the hottest team in the league, and a 3:0 win over Chelsea in the previous game pretty much confirms that. With four rounds to go, Brighton sits in 6th place with 50 points and is unlikely to move into the top five and secure a Champions League spot, as they are eight points away. Their main goal should be to stay in 6th place, and looking at their remaining schedule, we believe they can do it.

Diego Gomez is the new name on the injury list. The 23-year-old midfielder suffered an injury against Tottenham and missed the upcoming game against Chelsea. According to credible sources, the midfielder has a severe knee inflammation and will not be available for the upcoming game(s). Moreover, Solly March, James Milner, Stefanos Tzimas, and Adam Webster should remain sidelined with their injuries.
