Manchester United come into Sunday`s Premier League fixture after picking up a hard-fought goalless draw at Sunderland last weekend. United struggled to create much, with just one shot on target across the 90 minutes.

The Red Devils have been an entertaining watch in the past couple of months, particularly at Old Trafford. All but one of their last seven home fixtures finished with BTTS and over 2.5 goals scored. 

Already assured of a top five finish, United have been solid in home games, winning six of their last seven Premiership games at Old Trafford. Carrick’s side sit third in the division, six points clear of both Liverpool and Aston Villa with just two games to play. 

Interim boss Carrick has a couple of injury concerns this weekend. Benjamin Šeško and Matthijs de Ligt are both doubtful due to a knock and a back issue respectively.

Nottingham Forest make the trip to Old Trafford after a hard-fought 1:1 draw against Newcastle last weekend. Elliot Anderson’s late goal rescued a point for the Garibaldis. 

A strong run of form in the EPL has seen Forest avoid defeat in each of their last eight fixtures. However, a 4:0 defeat in the semi-finals of the Europa League against Aston Villa is likely to have dented Forest’s confidence. 

On the road, Vitor Pereira’s side have been in excellent form, securing victories in each of their last three away EPL fixtures. The visitors now sit 16th in the division, seven points clear of the drop zone. 

Head coach Pereira has several potential absentees ahead of the trip to Old Trafford. Callum Hudson-Odoi (muscle) is ruled out through injury, while Ibrahim Sangaré, Morgan Gibbs-White, Murillo, Ola Aina and Zach Abbott are all doubtful to feature.
