CD Leganés supporters have not had much reason to relax lately. Los Pepineros come into this match after four straight defeats, with only one win from the last eight games overall.

Right now, confidence looks shaky, especially at the back. Igor Oca’s side conceded first in each of the previous five matches, which says quite a lot about their slow starts.

Still, Estadio Municipal de Butarque has offered some resistance. Leganes lost only twice in the last five home fixtures, and survival battles often become emotional rather than tactical. Familiar surroundings can help more than people expect.

Roberto López returns after suspension, while Rubén Pulido is back from a long knee injury and should add calm in defence. Injuries remain a concern, though, with Jorge Sáenz, Enric Franquesa and Luís Asué still unavailable.

SD Huesca are hardly arriving full of confidence either. The Blue and Scarlets managed just one win in the last 13 matches, alongside three draws and nine defeats.

On paper, that usually points toward relegation. Somehow, though, survival still feels possible. José Luis Oltra’s side remain only three points from safety, so the pressure has not completely turned into resignation yet.

The away record is probably the bigger concern now. Huesca lost seven straight road games, and a few of those defeats looked finished long before the final whistle. Supporters travelling on Monday may carry more nerves than belief.

Dani Jiménez remains suspended after the red card against Real Zaragoza. There is some relief, however, with Jesús Álvarez available again after serving his own suspension against Racing de Santander.
