FC Jazz come into Round 9 as one of the in-form teams in the division. After suffering three defeats in their opening four league games, they have responded impressively by winning four consecutive Ykkönen fixtures against TPV, KuPS Akatemia, RoPS, and OLS. During that stretch, they scored eight goals while conceding only two.

Home form remains a slight concern despite the recent upturn. Jazz lost their opening two home league matches before edging RoPS 2-1 in their latest outing at Porin Stadion. However, confidence within the squad has clearly improved after climbing back into the top half of the standings.
