Ghana arrive at Gillette Stadium in high spirits after a remarkable late winner secured a narrow win against Panama. Caleb Yirenkyi’s goal, five minutes into stoppage time proved the difference as the Ghanaians claimed a vital victory at BMO Field. 

The Black Stars were second best for much of the contest, and despite registering just seven efforts on goal, emerged with a priceless three points.

Head coach Carlos Queiroz is likely to keep faith with much of the same XI that edged past the Panamanians. Brandon Thomas-Asante could come into the side after setting up Yirenkyi’s late winner after appearing as a second-half substitute.
