Elfsborg vs Sirius prediction 19.07.2026 | Allsvenskan

In almost a decade, Elfsborg have been regularly in the top half of Allsvenskan, but they have only once secured European football. The same could happen in 2026, as Elfsborg are two points behind the Conference League positions. The recent form doesn't provide much optimism either, as the team from Boras is winless in the last four matches. In the previous game, Elfsborg lost 1-0 on the road against GAIS. The teams were pretty even, and the outcome could easily have gone either way, but eventually Elfsborg's poor efficiency left the visitors empty-handed. 

Elfsborg have already made many changes in the current transfer window. However, nothing significant has happened since their last match. Gottfrid Rapp and Altti Hellemaa left the team on loan to Stabaek and Jaro, but neither had a big role at Elfsborg. 

Elfsborg have almost full squad available. Per Frick, with a broken ankle, is surely out for Sunday, while Ludvig Richtner is questionable, and his status will get clearer closer to the kickoff. 

The 2026 season could be the best ever for Sirius, as they are on course for their first Allsvenskan title. The team from Uppsala never had a big role in Swedish football, but after 12 rounds in the current campaign, Sirius are nine points ahead of the next team in the standings, Hammarby. They are still unbeaten, and the big question is whether anyone can stop them. Last weekend, Sirius won 2-1 on the road against Brommapojkarna. The guests were excellent in the first half, and that was enough for another victory. 

For Sirius, the biggest question in this transfer window is when Robbie Ure will leave the team. The player who scored 12 goals in 12 Allsvenskan games is on the wish lists of Lyon, Nice, Lorient, Strasbourg, Hoffenheim, and Lecce. However, until Robbie is in the team, we should expect him to lead Sirius' attack. 

Tobias Anker, Neo Jonsson, August Ljungberg, Noel Milleskog, and Joakim Persson are unavailable for the trip to Boras.
