Djurgarden are among the best Swedish teams for the last few years. They opened the 2026 season with 13 points from the first seven matches and are on course for another good campaign. Djurgarden had a slight slip in form recently, but they returned to the right track with two wins in the previous two games. In the most recent outing, Djurgarden won 4-2 on the road against AIK. The guests ended with a superior xG of 2.56 (compared with the hosts' 1.62), and their victory was well-deserved.

After a victory in the previous Allsvenskan round, the head coach, Jani Honkavaara, explained the main reasons for the team's improved form in recent matches. He said, "We've found something about this team that gives us a lot of energy right now. We have 22 outfielders who really like to play with each other. We're in a good place right now."

Djurgarden doesn't have a big problem with missing players. Nino Zugelj and Malkolm Nilsson will be the only ones unavailable for the game against Sirius.
