A vital London derby takes place on Tuesday evening as Chelsea take on relegation-threatened Tottenham.
Spurs make the short trip to Stamford Bridge knowing a draw will likely secure their EPL status while Chelsea return to action after a disappointing defeat against Man City in the final of the FA Cup.
The Blues have dominated this fixture in past seasons but with Spurs improving and the hosts in dismal form, a competitive contest should be on the cards this week.

Premier League
Chelsea and Tottenham have met on 15 occasions since 2020. Chelsea secured 11 victories while Tottenham triumphed just once (in 90 minutes).
Chelsea team overview
Chelsea return to Premier League action after a limp 1:0 defeat in the FA Cup final against Manchester City on Saturday. Antoine Semenyo’s cute backheel condemned the Blues to an uninspiring reversal at Wembley.
Unable to create much in front of goal, Chelsea drew a blank for the seventh time in 11 games since mid-March.
A miserable run of form has seen Chelsea win just two of 12 matches across all competitions, while they are winless in their last seven EPL games, with only one win in 11 league fixtures since February.
Interim boss Calum McFarlane has three confirmed absentees this week. Estêvão (hamstring), Jamie Gittens (hamstring) and Jesse Derry (head) are all ruled out through injury.

Tottenham team overview
Tottenham make the trip to Stamford Bridge looking to build on a 1:1 draw against Leeds last week. A brilliant strike from Mathys Tel opened the scoring for the home side before Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s penalty rescued a point for Daniel Farke’s side.
While still very much in relegation trouble, Spurs have improved since the appointment of former Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi. Tottenham have picked up eight points while remaining unbeaten in their last four EPL fixtures.
On the road, De Zerbi’s side have lost just one of their last four EPL matches, and now sit two points clear of West Ham. A win on Wednesday will secure safety while a draw will all but guarantee their status with a vastly superior goal difference to the Hammers.
Head coach De Zerbi has four expected absentees for the trip to Stamford Bridge. Ben Davies (ankle) and Dejan Kulusevski (knee) are ruled out through injury, while Dominic Solanke (muscle) and Guglielmo Vicario (groin) are both doubtful.

Prediction
Tottenham have the momentum to take a positive result against a Chelsea side that has struggled badly in the past couple of months.
I have my stake on an away win or draw at Stamford Bridge.
Three Reasons Why We Expect Tottenham to Win or Draw
- Chelsea failed to win 10 of their last 11 matches (EPL)
- Chelsea failed to win 12 of their last 18 home matches (EPL)
- Tottenham are unbeaten in their last 4 matches
