Bolívar vs Fluminense prediction 30.04.2026 | Copa Libertadores

Bolivar, a 30-time Bolivian champ, finished their last season trophyless. This year did not start great for the popular La Academia, at least by their standards. Only one point in the first two Copa Libertadores games and a loss on 22nd April to Independiente in the league led to coach Flavio Robatto resigning. At the moment, the assistant coach, Vladimir Soria, is the caretaker manager. Under him, Bolivar just recorded a 6:0 win over Tomaypo. 

Right now, Bolivar is sitting in 3rd place in the domestic league with nine points from four rounds. So, even though there has been a coaching change, we cannot really say the results have been too bad. A positive result in this match against Fluminense would be a massive boost for La Academia.

Fluminense had a decent last year under young coach Luis Zubeldía, finishing 5th in the Serie A, reaching the Copa do Brasil semi-finals, and the Copa Sudamericana Quarter-Finals. This year, the Tricolor have had a good start in Serie A, where they sit in 3rd place with 26 points from 13 rounds. So, a pretty good start in the domestic league. However, we cannot say the same for the Copa Libertadores campaign, considering they won only one point in the first two games against Independiente Rivadavia and La Guaira. Since they were the favorites in each of those matches, we can safely say the results haven't been great. 

Right full-back Guga suffered an injury in the previous game against Chapecoense SC. He will most likely miss the game, along with Martinelli, Luciano Acosta, German Cano, and Nonato, who are dealing with their injuries sustained earlier.
