Brazil start their World Cup campaign under Carlo Ancelotti, but there are three more exciting games to enjoy! MightyTips presents a World Cup value bet of the day and a risky parlay of the day, makes a prediction on all games of the Matchday, and shares some interesting facts about the tournament.

Match 5: Qatar - Switzerland, 21:00 CET, June 13
Match 6: Brazil - Morocco, 00:00 CET, June 14
Match 7: Haiti - Scotland, 03:00 CET, June 14
Match 8: Australia - Turkey, 06:00 CET, June 14
There’s no shortage of options today, and we’ll choose the last game between Australia and Turkey. The Socceroos are a tough nut to crack, and their defence is traditionally solid. Meanwhile, goals are very difficult to come by - if we take a 5-0 victory against Curaçao out of the equation, they scored just 4 times in the last 7 matches. Turkey are of a higher class, unbeaten in eight games, with a 2-2 draw against Spain in Sevilla being the sole draw during that streak. We can’t see anything other than Turkey winning at 1.70 in Vancouver.
Switzerland are huge favourites at 1.22, yet three points are not guaranteed for them in San Francisco. The Swiss arrive with a squad that blends experienced internationals and emerging talent, while Qatar continue to rely on a core group that has played together for several years. The sides have limited competitive history against each other, adding an element of unpredictability. For Qatar, facing established European opposition offers another opportunity to measure the progress of their national-team project on the global stage.
Brazil’s attacking fluidity against Morocco’s defensive organization is the key here. Space between the lines could be crucial, with both teams looking to control transitions and avoid being exposed when committing players forward. Brazil boast one of the deepest attacking talent pools in international football, though squad selection and fitness management remain vital. Morocco continue to benefit from a generation that has elevated the country’s profile on the world stage. Their historic run to the 2022 World Cup semi-finals remains one of the greatest achievements by an African nation and has raised expectations for every major tournament appearance since.
Scotland are well-drilled defensively and place significant emphasis on structure, set pieces and collective pressing. Their squad includes several players accustomed to competing at the highest levels of European football, providing valuable tournament experience. Haiti, meanwhile, often look to inject pace into attacks and can be dangerous when given opportunities to run at defenders in transition. They continue to make strides internationally and have shown they can challenge more established nations when executing their game plan effectively. Meetings between the two countries are rare, giving this encounter a fresh feel and presenting both teams with a chance to make a strong statement on the world stage.
Australia’s physicality, work rate and defensive discipline could make for an intriguing clash with Turkey’s technical midfield play. How effectively Australia can disrupt Turkey’s build-up play may be one of the defining tactical questions of the match. Australia have developed a reputation for punching above their weight at major tournaments, regularly advancing from difficult groups. Turkey, meanwhile, possess a proud footballing tradition highlighted by their memorable third-place finish at the 2002 World Cup. The blend of contrasting styles and tournament pedigree should make this an engaging contest.

Vinícius Júnior has an excellent chance to demonstrate why he is considered one of the most dangerous attackers in international football. The Brazilian winger constantly stretches the opposition defence with his pace, direct running and ability to create space in one-on-one situations. After a lacklustre season with Real Madrid, he’ll have to show his best this summer if the Seleção are to go deep in the tournament.

On June 13, 2014, the Netherlands stunned defending champions, Spain, with a 5-1 victory at the World Cup in Brazil. The match featured one of the tournament's most iconic moments when Robin van Persie scored his famous diving header, later nicknamed the "Flying Dutchman" goal.
