Peterborough face their penultimate League One fixture knowing a point will secure their place in the division next season. The Posh slipped to a 3-1 defeat at Stockport last weekend as their poor run of form continued.

Luke Williams’ side have endured a difficult end to the campaign, failing to win any of their last seven matches and picking up just three points during that period. Winless in their last three at home, Peterborough recorded just eight wins in 21 home fixtures this season

Despite their poor form, the hosts sit three points above the drop zone with just two games to play.

A lack of clean sheets has led to several high-scoring outcomes for the struggling home side. Peterborough have seen BTTS in 10 of their last 11 matches while eight of those games finished with at least three goals scored. 

Head coach Williams could make some changes to his selection on Tuesday. Benjamin Woods and David Kamara are among those in contention to earn a recall.

Mansfeld make the trip to London Road Stadium after an impressive 4:! win at Huddersfield last weekend. Regan Hendry and Oliver Irow were among the goals in a fine away victory for Nigel Clough’s side. 

The Stags have been in excellent form in the past month or so, picking up four wins and just one loss from eight previous League One matches. However, despite their strong run of form, Clough’s men are no longer in contention to secure a playoff position. 

Head coach Clough has no new injury issues this week. The visitors could name an unchanged XI after their excellent victory against Huddersfield. Elliott Hewitt could come into contention after appearing as a second-half substitute last weekend.
