Biancocelesti's chance to save the season and secure Europe is through the Cup, where they will face Inter in the finals in mid-May.

Mario Gila suffered an injury in the previous game and had to leave the field after 77 minutes. He will most likely miss the match, along with Samuel Gigot, Ivan Provedel, and Nicolo Rovella, who should remain sidelined with their injuries.

Udinese have been a mid-table team for over a decade, and they are in their usual place this season as well. Throughout the season, the Bianconeri were constantly floated between 9th and 12th place, and they will most likely finish in that range. At the moment, they are in 11th place with 43 points from 33 matches and cannot move into the European spots or drop into the danger zone. So, they can pretty much take these remaining games more casually. 

One of the team's key players, Jesper Karlstrom, collected his fifth yellow card in the previous match and will serve his one-game suspension against Lazio. 

Thomas Kristensen suffered an injury in the previous match. He will most likely miss the match, along with a few who should remain sidelined with their injuries - Nicolo Bertola, Keinan Davis, Alessandro Zanoli, and Jordan Zemura.
