Moreirense come into Wednesday’s Liga Portugal contest after a 2:1 defeat against Porto at the Estadio do Dragao on Friday.

Dinis Pinto fired Vasco Costa's side into the lead, but goals from Jan Bednarek and William Gomes completed Porto's comeback. 

Moreirense have collected four points from their opening four matches, recording one victory, one draw and two defeats. They have scored just four goals while leaking eight. 

The out-of-form hosts have won only one of their last six competitive fixtures since the end of last season, while they failed to score in three matches during that sequence.

Head coach Costa has one confirmed absentee this week. Guilherme Liberato is suspended after receiving a straight red card during the closing stages of Friday's defeat at Porto.

Rodrigo Alonso is expected to replace Liberato in midfield. Dinis Pinto should retain his place, while Alexandre Parsemain is likely to lead the attack.

Benfica travel to Moreira de Conegos after cruising to a 3:0 victory against Maritimo on Saturday.

Leandro Barreiro scored twice before Gianluca Prestianni completed the scoring late in the contest. 

Marco Silva's in-form side have won five successive matches across all competitions, scoring 18 goals while conceding just three goals. 

Over a longer period, Benfica won seven and drew two of nine matches since a 2:1 road defeat at St Gallen in the UCL qualifiers. At least three goals were scored in all seven of those victories.

Head coach Silva has a strong squad available this week. Alexander Bah is doubtful after being forced off with an injury at Maritimo. Benfica have no other confirmed absentees ahead of Wednesday's contest.

Jakub Kaminski could deputise at right-back if Bah misses out. Vangelis Pavlidis should continue in attack after scoring five goals in four league appearances.
