A poor recent record in this fixture will hardly inspire confidence in the out-of-form hosts’. Ilves lost six of seven games against Inter Turku since May 2025.

FC Inter Turku make the trip to Tammela Stadium in high spirits after an impressive week saw them score 11 goals in back-to-back victories. After a thumping 8:0 win against JS Hercules in the Suomen Cup, Turku eased to a 3:1 road win at SJK in the Veikkausliiga last weekend. 

The Finnish champions have made a solid start to the defence of their title, picking up five wins while losing just one of their first eight fixtures. Inter sit top of the division, two points clear of Oulu. 

Across all competitions, Turku have impressed, winning nine and losing just one of 12 fixtures since the start of the new season. 

Head coach Vesa Vasara has a strong squad available for Wednesday’s matchup and is likely to retain the same XI that claimed victory at SJK last time out.
