FF Jaro return to Project Liv Arena after picking up a point against title-challening Inter Turku last weekend.

Jens Karlsson’s side held the in-form visitors to a 0:0 draw, a result that should provide some confidence after a difficult run of results.

The hosts remain 11th in the Veikkausliiga standings, having failed to win six of their last seven games since the end of May. Over a longer period, Jaro lost eight and won just two of their last 12 fixtures. 

Despite a lack of firepower, three of their last four home games finished with BTTS. Five of their six most recent encounters against SJK also finished with both teams on the scoresheet. 

Head coach Karlsson is likely to name the same XI that secured a useful point against Inter Turku. The hosts have no reported injury issues.

SJK make the trip to Jakobstad looking to bounce back from a disappointing defeat against KuPS.

Jarkko Wiss’s side slipped to a 2:0 at OmaSP Stadion, leaving them 10th in the Veikkausliiga table coming into this fixture. 

SJK have failed to find much consistency in recent weeks, with three defeats and just one win recorded in their last six games. Since mid-May, the away side won three but lost seven of their last 12 games. 

Like the home side, a lack of clean sheets has led to several high-scoring outcomes. Seven of their last nine games finished with both teams on the scoresheet. SJK have kept only one clean sheet in their last 12 matches.

Head coach Wiss could make some changes to his first XI this weekend. Jeremiah Streng and Kelwin Souza do Nascimento are among those in contention to earn recalls after making half-time substitute appearances against KuPS.
