Ernesto Valverde’s side have endured a dismal month, with defeats recorded in all but one of their last six games since the start of March. 

A lack of consistency in home fixtures has undermined Bilbao’s La Liga campaign. Los Leones have won eight but lost six of their 16 league games at San Mamés this season.

Head coach Valverde has three selection issues for Tuesday’s La Liga contest. Unai Gómez is ruled out through injury, while Beñat Prados (cruciate ligament) and Daniel Vivian (muscle) are both doubtful.

Osasuna resume their solid La Liga campaign after picking up a point in last week’s encounter against Real Betis. Unfortunate not to claim all three points, Ante Budimir’s first-half penalty secured a point for Alessio Lisci’s side.

Placed ninth in the division, one point ahead of Athletic Club, Osasuna have enjoyed a strong run of form since the turn of the year. Los Rojillos are unbeaten in all but two of their last 13 matches, including a 2:2 draw at Alaves in their most recent road trip.

Head coach Lisci has a few injury worries ahead of the trip to Bilbao. Asier Osambela is suspended following a red card, while Alejandro Catena is banned due to an accumulation of yellow cards. Iker Benito (ACL) is ruled out through injury, with Ante Budimir doubtful due to a muscle issue.
