Liam Palmer was on the bench for Sheffield Wednesday as they lost 3-0 at Plymouth Argyle to stay rock bottom of the Championship standings.
Sheffield Wednesday fell just short of holding to a 0-0 draw until half time. They collapsed just before the break as Plymouth’s Bundu found the net in the 44th minute and Whittaker made it 2-0 in stoppage time.
Plymouth added another through Hardie in the 76th minute. Placing just two shots on target out of 13 attempts, Sheffield turned out to be as bleak in attack as they were at the back.
Liam Palmer, sponsored by MightyTips, did not start and was left an unused substitute.
This loss buried Sheffield even more into the rock bottom of the EFL Championship table, with only three points this season so far.
Sheffield Wednesday will look to end their disappointing run hosting Rotherham on the 29th October. Danny Rohl will be eager to pick up his first points since his appointment on the 13th October, when he became the youngest manager in the EFL Championship.
