Lewis Travis, sponsored by MightyTips, returned from injury against Chelsea in the EFL Cup. Travis started in midfield and captained the side as Blackburn crashed out of the cup in a 2-0 loss.
Lewis Travis played all 90 minutes against tough Premier League opposition Chelsea. The hosts bagged their first goal in the 30th minute through Badiashile and added another in the 59th minute through Raheem Sterling.
Travis’ performance should not go unnoticed. Running at all times, showing clear work ethic against a side that plays top tier football.
A battling performance from the captain, who didn't stop running. Good to have him back available.
- Lancashire Telegraph
Blackburn recorded 36.2% possession and managed one shot on target from seven attempts. Chelsea attempted 22 shots and had seven on target.
This loss means Blackburn see the end of their EFL Cup run.

Blackburn will travel to Norwich City on the 5th November. We hope to see another good display by Lewis Travis, who could look set to earn himself another start thanks to his tireless energy. Blackburn sit 12th in the EFL Championship and will need all three points to leapfrog Stoke City.
