However, West Ham started playing better lately. Seven of their 11 points came in the last three matches. In the most recent outing, Espirito Santo's team played 2-2 on the road against Bournemouth. The home side ended with xG of 4.05, while the guests had only 0.65, so West Ham should feel pretty fortunate for avoiding defeat. 

Although West Ham have won seven points in the last three matches and the team is looking better, there are still reports that Nuno Espirito Santo could lose his job. However, the board commented on the reports as rubbish. 

Lucas Paqueta is suspended and will not play on Sunday against Liverpool. Lukasz Fabianski and Oliver Scarles are unavailable due to injuries. Also, Konstantinos Mavropanos and Crysencio Summerville are questionable and their status will be clearer closer to the kickoff. 

Only six months ago, Liverpool lifted their 20th English league title, yet just 12 Premier League rounds into the current campaign, Arne Slot's side already looks far from likely to defend the crown. They are 11 points behind the league leader, Arsenal, and will need almost a flawless rest of the season to retain the Premier League trophy. Also, Liverpool's form is a major concern, as they have won only two of their last seven matches across all competitions. In the most recent outing, Slot's team lost 4-1 at home in the Champions League against PSV. The home side had 63% ball possession and 18 shots on the goal more than the opponents, but they ended empty-handed.  

It seems that Arne Slot's spell in Liverpool could end soon. According to reports, the board issued an ultimatum to the manager: Liverpool must win nine points in the next three matches, or Slot will lose his job. The English media also reports that the board contacted Jurgen Klopp about the possibility of his return.

Giovanni Leoni, Conor Bradley, and Jeremie Frimpong are injured and will not play on Sunday in London. Also, Alisson, Florian Wirtz, and Hugo Ekitike are questionable.
