A miserable run of away form has seen the Baggies lose each of their last five away Championship fixtures while they have won just one of their five most recent league games. Ryan Mason's side now sit 16th in the division, two points above their opponents this weekend. 

A high-scoring outcome could be on the cards in Friday's Championship fixture. A minimum of three goals were scored in five of West Bromwich's last six games.

Head coach Mason has two confirmed absentees this weekend. Josh Maja and Daryl Dike both remain unavailable for selection.

Sheffield United return to Championship action after extending their unbeaten run to six matches with a 1:1 draw against Norwich on Tuesday. Danng Ings bagged his first Blades goal before Djibril Soumaré's own-goal ensured a share of the spoils at Brammal Lane. 

Chris Wilder's side have shown significant signs of improvement in recent weeks, with the Blades picking up four successive victories before their draw against Norwich. 

Sheffield United have now picked up 14 points from their last six fixtures. They had collected just nine points from their first 14 games of the season. Wilder's men find themselves up to 17th in the division, six clear of the relegation zone. 

Blades boss Wilder remains unable to call on Jamie Shackleton but has no other confirmed injury issues this weekend.
