Under 2.5 Goals Predictions

Lazio went under 2.5 goals in 14 out of 17 Serie A games - the most in the league. Meanwhile, Napoli went under 2.5 goals in five consecutive games. They also struggled scoring on the road, failing to score in five of their last ten road games. So, we do not expect an outstanding offensive performance. 

Auxerre have been involved in some low scoring Ligue 1 encounters in recent months. Under 2.5 goals has landed in four of their last six Ligue 1 fixtures.

While Atletico's recent matches have seen a higher number of goals, their away games historically, and the tight nature of this specific rivalry, suggest caution. Real Sociedad's home games this season have generally been lower-scoring. The high stakes of the match, combined with the two teams' historical tendency for closely fought contests and Real Sociedad's attacking limitations, make the Under 2.5 Goals prediction well-supported.

Both teams have solid defense. Al Masry conceded only two goals in the last four matches, while Smouha allowed two goals in the previous three games. With those trends, it is unlikely we will see more than two goals on Monday afternoon.

Egypt, while strong favourites, rarely blows teams away with high scorelines, preferring calculated, controlled victories. Benin will be defensively organized and difficult to break down.

Three of Dunkerque’s last four league games finished under 2.5 goals. Add in Montpellier’s recent clean-sheet record and the low-scoring head-to-head history, and goals look scarce again.
