Sheffield United come into Monday's Championship contest in winning form after an impressive 3:1 victory against Oxford United last week. Trailing for much of the first period, goals from Sydie Peck (41′), Andre Brooks (66′) and Chiedozie Ogbene (83′) secured the points for the Blades.

Chris Wilder's side have been in mixed form since the turn of the year, winning three and losing three of seven games played across all competitions.

However, the Blades have built up a tremendous record in Championship home fixtures. Chris Wilder's side won six of their last seven home fixtures, while they are unbeaten in each of their previous eight.

Entertaining outcomes can usually be expected when Sheffield United are involved. Seven of their last nine games finished with BTTS, while each of five previous home fixtures finished with a minimum of three goals scored.

Head coach Wilder has no fresh injury issues. Jamie Shackleton is a long-term absentee for the home side.

Middlesbrough make the short trip to Bramall Lane in high spirits after a hard-fought 1:0 win against Norwich nine days ago. Hayden Hackney's first-half goal secured another victory for the in-form Boro. 

An excellent run of results has seen Kim Hellberg's side secure victories in each of their last five Championship fixtures. Up to second in the division, the Boro now sit four points clear of third-placed Hull, as they remain on course for a return to the Premier League for the first time since 2017.

Recent road performances have been inconsistent, with Middlesbrough winning two and losing two of their last four away fixtures. High-scoring contests have been a common theme on their travels, though, with seven of their last nine away matches seeing BTTS.

Head coach Hellberg is unlikely to make too many alterations from the side that edged past Norwich. David Strelec is the only confirmed absentee for the promotion-chasing visitors.
