PSG vs Manchester United have met four times so far, and both teams have won twice. The previous H2H match was almost six years ago, when PSG won 3-1 at Old Trafford in the Champions League.
PSG team overview
PSG have dominated French football in recent years, winning the last five Ligue 1 titles, while also lifting the Champions League trophy in each of the previous two seasons. Defending both crowns remains the primary goal for Luis Enrique's team. After a longer previous campaign and the World Cup, PSG decided to have a shorter preseason this summer. They plan to have only two tests before the official season start. In the first, PSG lost 3-0 against Mallorca. The players who had a heavy load during the World Cup skipped that game, and it is unclear when they will return.
PSG didn't change their squad significantly this summer. Compared to last season, the team left Kang-in Lee and Goncalo Ramos. On the other hand, PSG have only signed Alessandro Longoni so far. However, the club could leave Bradley Barcola, and in that case, PSG will surely have to make some more significant moves.

Manchester United team overview
After several disappointing seasons, Manchester United finally appear to be back on the right track. They endured problems under Ruben Amorim, but since Michael Carrick took over the club on an interim basis, Manchester United impressed and eventually finished third in the Premier League. The former midfielder was rewarded with a permanent contract during the summer, and the board now hopes Carrick can lead the Red Devils back into the title race. In the preseason, Manchester United lost their first match but responded with convincing victories over Rosenborg and Atletico Madrid. Especially impressive was the second half in the match against Diego Simeone's side when Manchester United dominated and picked up a well-deserved victory.
Manchester United are probably stronger than last season. Casemiro is the only important departure this summer. On the other hand, the Red Devils signed Youri Tielemans, who should be a huge addition. The midfielder had two goals and seven assists for Aston Villa last season. An excellent signing should be Andrey Santos from Chelsea, too, while Karl Darlow (Leeds) should be the second-choice goalkeeper behind Senne Lammens.

Prediction
Manchester United looked excellent in 5-0 and 2-1 victories against Rosenborg and Atletico Madrid. On the other hand, PSG were beaten 3- 0 by Mallorca. Luis Enrique's team still seems a few weeks away from their top form. Manchester United are looking better at the moment and should secure another victory on Saturday in Goteborg.
