Paris FC vs Lyon prediction 12.09.2026 | Ligue 1

Paris FC came into this season after an excellent one last season. They finished 11th despite being a newly promoted team. Despite a coaching change during the summer, Paris FC seems not to have lost a step. In fact, they are looking better than ever under Liam Rosenior as they won seven points in the first three games. 

The last win, 3:2, was particularly impressive given the fact that it came against Marseille on the road! After the match, coach Liam Rosenior spoke to the media. He was satisfied but also downplayed the significance of the result. He praised his forward, Lassine Sinayoko, who recorded a hat-trick. However, the coach urged the players to stay humble, keep working hard, and focus on the next game. 

When it comes to injuries, they shouldn't have any new ones, but Nhoa Sangui, Otavio, and Jonathan Ikone should remain sidelined. 

Lyon overcame the financial problems they had last summer and had a pretty good season, finishing 4th. Les Gones had a chance to secure 3rd place and a spot in the Champions League main phase. Unfortunately, they lost the last two games and were pushed to the Qualifiers. Unfortunately for them, they failed to secure the main phase, as Fenerbahce eliminated them in the Playoff, and Les Gones will have to play in the Europa League this season. 

However, in Ligue 1, they did very well, winning seven points in the first three games. After a 3:1 win over Auxerre in the last game, coach Paulo Fonseca spoke to the media. He was happy with the overall performance, but also said they need to be a lot more clinical. The coach felt they could have scored five or six, or even more, goals but weren't focused enough. 

For the upcoming game, the team should be without injured Julien Duranville. Meanwhile, Keito Nakamura is questionable as he joined recently and appears to have a fitness issue after playing in the World Cup.
